Realm of Dread v1.0.5.0 Patch Notes

Hi everyone!

This new patch brings:

  • Mouse Smoothing feature has been removed, allowing players to perform mouse movements more quickly.
  • Removed the “Use AI voice acting?” question on first launch and set to enabled by default. You can change this setting in Audio Settings.
  • Prologue has been expanded.
  • The pace has been increased in Chapter I.
  • New voice lines have been added to Chapter I.
  • Added missing windows to Player’s house in Chapter I.
  • Reduced damage from flames in Chapter I.
  • The pace has been increased in Chapter II.
  • A missing Turkish localization for a specific note in Chapter II has been fixed.
  • Added a marker for the book in Chapter II to prevent players losing it*
  • The duration of the defense in Chapter III has been reduced.
  • Fixed an enemy AI sometimes staying alive after defense ends in Chapter III.
  • Added one more coke to give temporary speed boost in Chapter III.
  • Fixed an issue where the environment would suddenly darken when approaching the Trainyard in Chapter III.
  • Better and improved puzzle in the Trainyard.
  • New voice lines have been added to Chapter III.
  • Fixed a bug in Sewers level that caused the player to hear an underwater sound even when they were not in the water.
  • Fixed a bug in Chapter IV that caused the player to collide with the generator and change its location.
  • The pace has been increased in Chapter VI.

*I’m aware of a bug where the marker doesn’t appear exactly on the book, I’ll work on it in the next update.
